| Chapter 10.28 of the Bushnell City Code gives the Superintendent of Streets the authorization to declare a "Snow Emergency" and to restrict parking on any or all parts of the "Snow Emergency Routes" although only Washington Boulevard between Twyman and Harris St. is designated as a Snow Emergency Route it was intended to make any "Through Street" (one that are not controlled by Stop Signs) as "Snow Emergency Route."
All Side streets are prohibited parking on the even side of the street on days that has a "u" in their spelling. odd sides on the remaining days.
During a "Snow Emergency" vechiles shall be towed by the police department and redeemed by the owner at his/her expense.
All snow removal must be redistributed on the same property and not placed in City streets. Tickets will be issued to any placed in City way.|
| Snow Mobiles
Chapter 10.32 of the Bushnell City Code establishes a “Snowmobile” Route through the city. In all cases the snowmobile must be equipped with headlights, taillights, brake and muffler. They are allowed to drive on the right side of the roadway from their residence to the closest snowmobile routes and then follow the routes out of town. In all cases snowmobiles must obey all traffic laws that apply to motor vehicles. After midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 10:00 PM. on any other days snowmobiles can only be operated at a speed necessary to maintain a forward motion.
This applies only to snowmobiles, 4-wheelers, 3-wheelers or any motor vehicle that is not registered for the streets can not be operated on city streets, alleys or sidewalks.|
